I believe the do-not-call list is a farce. It is a way for telemarketers/???? to obtain our phone numbers and then call us, instead of blocking our phone numbers from future calls.
Received a call from person whose 1st language is not English so I had a very difficult time understanding him. I think he was trying to convince me that he was from Microsoft and that my software has a virus. He wanted me to go to my computer and follow his directions. At that point I told him I was not at the same location as my computer and asked for his number to call him back. He said he would call me back at a later time and then hung up.
I just receive that same call, i could not understand anything he said besides Microsoft and error reports. Did they every try to get back with you? I dont like that they go my number i am on all the do not call list plus its my cell so i never give it out.
I got the same call too, just similar to the content you described about two weeks back and today as well I got a call from same number again luckily it went as a miss call.
