I just did block it. They may call again but the call will automatically be informed that their number has been blocked from this number.
I love such modern technology. I don't have to deal with these idiots. Call your phone company about the call blocking feature. It might be worth the expense to do so.
The trouble with blocking this caller is that they will just change the number the next time.
I've received calls from these scumbags three times in the past month and every time it was from a different number. Only THIS time did they use this number and ID as Builder's Square. But the MO is the same... "my computer is sending error codes to their (Dell/Microsoft) servers or hackers are trying to get into my computer..." Always thick Indian accent.
They do this all day, every day and don't mind if you block them. They will call thousands of us every day and the sad part is that most of the people who fall for their scam won't post it here or anywhere else.
What we need is for CONGRESS to get off their [***] and do something or a change: Arrest these scumbags if possible and prosecute who ever they are affiliated with in the United States. Have the ISPs (ie phone carriers) respond to scams and block the offending numbers.
In other words, we need to get to the ROOT of the problem by contacting our senators and phone companies. If enough of us complain, something will get done!
