Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
Same as above. A middle eastern man identifying himself as "Officer John White" (real original) has called three days in a row (now he's blocked) to scare me into thinking that the Federal Government is investigating my address and that "Officer White" can help with my case. What they don't realize is that the Feds don't investigate addresses but Social Security Numbers. Also, if there was an issue they would send a letter to the address under investigation. Idiots.
He tried framing/scamming my mother. "John White/Wright" called on 12/02/2014 and left a voicemail saying he's an IRS Officer. Then he called again 12/03/2014, and my mother picked up. He drove her to tears because he said that she would be arrested for taxes that she did not pay, in an hour. He tried to get her to pay him with a Green Dot Moneypak. Then we asked why she would be paying with a pre-paid card, then he hung up. We filled a report to the FTC and TIGTA.
