Well too bad the DNC was designed to stop telemarketing calls, as defined by someone calling you up on the phone, and selling something. Since a debt collector doesn't sell anything, well you draw the conclusion. Now, as to you want more cases? There are tons of them, if you had taken 5 seconds to look for them. The FTC and its partner the CFPB do contact the debt collectors, well at least the one that are legal, because unlike on TV where they get the bad guy in less than an hour, in between the commercials, finding the others takes time. As to your perfect, imperfect world analogy, I would like you to point out one thing that works perfectly every time in our world. Just one. So if you want to live in dreamland, go right ahead, but if you want to live in reality, you need to realize that things take time, but they do get done. Now I suppose I could do your work for you and post a few hundred cases, but then I would be taking all the fun you will have learning that your belief perseverance is wrong again.
Debt collector scam, most likely out of India. Some lady with a very thick Indian accent looking for someone named Betty Murphy. She got a piece of my mind.
Same old debt collection scam that I have been dealing with since the beginning of 2016. These people are trash. Do not answer their calls. Do not call them back. Report them whenever possible and post it here so other folks can block the number too.
NEVER ENGAGE WITH THEM. THEY WILL ONLY INCREASE THE FREQUENCY OF THEIR CALLS. THEY ONLY HAVE A CHANCE TO SCAM YOU IF YOU SPEAK WITH THEM. THEY MAY ALSO CALL FAMILY AND FRINEDS, TELL THEM TO DO THE SAME.
DO NOT CONFIRM ONE IOTA OF YOUR INFORMATION, INCLUDING YOUR NAME.
The calls started a couple weeks ago and been increasing daily. I never answer and on my voicemail, the recorded voice has the first name garbled and my last name. I have an unusual first name, so I can't tell if they are attempting to say my name or not. Either way, they call at least 2 -3 times daily. I am now trying to find an app that effectively blocks them from even leaving a voicemail. They are very annoying and I REFUSE TO INTERACT WITH THEM! I will pay for an app if need be to block them effectively. MAJOR NUISANCE !!
