Calls claiming to be from Legal Affairs Department about legal proceedings begun against recipient.
Does not give company or agency name except once when claimed he was coaling from US Treasury Dep't.
Calls numerous times, leaves messages and uses different names. Speaks with foreign accent.
Today I received the same call and the guy asked me to call the number from where he was calling. He said that he is calling from US Treasury and I have legal case. He speaks with azian accent.
I have been harrassed at work and on my mobile for 2 days now with the same fake US Treasury Dept of Legal Affairs crap. The guy had a heavy Indian accent and told me to call the same number he wad calling from. When I asked for specifics, he rattled off all the allegations I was supposedly charged with and yelled at me when I told him to repeat what he was saying. He mentioned an affidavit and got really mad when I started asking questions and told him I had no idea what he was talking about and told he had the wrong person. Since I was uncooperative, he threatened to send 2 federal officers to my place of employment where they they would take me into custody. Never happened but still raised my BP.
I suggest you play along with them. Then offer to give them money. Then. Give them a fake bank etc. Or tell them their phone # is all over google and the whole country is on to them

Don't play with this guy! I have received 2 dlls from him also and I told him am an a investigative director with the IRS and now that I have his number we will be performing a full trace on all phone calls and emails on him! He slammed the phone down quick!!!! Scare him back if he ever calls!!! I promise he will not call again!
