Joseph, I'm baffled- your reply to anon employee doesn't match his comments at all. I'm a new employee (an ex ministry teacher & former seminary student, NOT an ex convict) who just looked at the dates (several years old) on all these other comments from those we called & former employees. Perhaps this info was true back then, but if so things have changed & this isn't how things are at Statewide Appeal NOW.
They called- I answered but no one spoke- called back 3 times and got an answering machine, "Hi, you've reached statewide appeals, Leave your name number and message and we'll call you back."
This number calls regularly. When I answer, I get a beep, then a hangup. No message left. The # on caller ID is 210-691-0344 and says "Statewide Appea" (the rest is cut off.) When you call that back, you get a message stating "This is Statewide Appeals...leave a message" but the voicemail is full.
Call (210)691-9770 as b suggested and ask to be removed from their list. They claim to be a non-profit organization soliciting money for Texas State Troopers and therefore exempt from Do Not Call.
" The # on caller ID is 210-691-0344 and says "Statewide Appea" (the rest is cut off.) When you call that back, you get a message stating "This is Statewide Appeals...leave a message" but the voicemail is full. " -- I got the exact thing.
I did
"Call (210)691-9770 as b suggested and ask to be removed from their list."
They were nice about it and even asked if there were any other #'s I'd like removed.
THanks a bunch!
