Joseph, I'm baffled- your reply to anon employee doesn't match his comments at all. I'm a new employee (an ex ministry teacher & former seminary student, NOT an ex convict) who just looked at the dates (several years old) on all these other comments from those we called & former employees. Perhaps this info was true back then, but if so things have changed & this isn't how things are at Statewide Appeal NOW.
These are unsolicited, telemarketer calls.
This appears to be the same caller that calls from 972-495-8727.
This caller has called my office on multiple occasions including 7 times total today (6-11-08)according to my caller ID.
Each time we answer the phone, the caller immediately hangs up and or disconnects the call so we don't even have a chance to find out what they want or request that our number be taken off of their call list.
When I try to call the number an answering machine answers that says Thank you for calling the fund raising office, please your callback number twice and someone will get back to you, thanks....Fund raising.
However, the mailbox is always full so it is impossible to even leave a message requesting information or removal from call list.
I assume the system is on a predictive dialer (computer calling system) and has some type of glitch that is disconnecting the call.
The real problem is, of course that this is EXTREMELY obnoxious and disruptive as well as illegal because the company offers no possibility of removal from list nor any type of contact info., company name or address.
This caller is a good example of why we all hate telemarketing. They should all be fined, jailed and executed and their homes, vehicles, computers and office equipment should all be confiscated and crushed and/or sold at auction to repay some of their deserved fines (if law allows).
Of course that is just my opinion... I could be overreacting a bit.

Yep, Been getting the calls from the 972.495.8727. They are asking for my wife but they have the wrong name. Saying she donated $$ last year and asking again. You google the phone number and comes up this as the address. If I were closer towards Irving, I would stop by.
