That's what I used to do before I got a call blocking machine that automatically blocks robo calls too. I sometimes miss spoofing the bad people. I would keep them on the phone long enough that they could have ripped off at least 5 unsuspecting people. I feel sorry for the people who don't realize that if you have a credit card, the credit card company won't call you for your credit card number as they are the one who issued the credit card with the numbers on it. I have really pissed off a lot of crooks in the past before I got my call blocker but either they got a new phone number or they took my number off their list as I never got the call back from the same number. I have been getting the same call from 817-678-8030 but my call blocking machine gets it each & every time & tells them I do not want to speak with them. They must think the machine is going to let them get through, no matter how many times they call me but they get the same message each & every time & always will no matter how many times they call me. They can't leave a message either as I turned off the message machine. It is so nice not to have my phone ringing off the wall now since I got the call blocking/robo blocking machine. This is awesome!
Crooks/scammers/bad people/ or whatever we want to call them, 99.9% of the time have the number they call from as a number that can't be called back to. This is how you definitely know they are crooks. Remember this, some of those numbers you call back will automatically charge your phone company & when your phone company checks to see the number it was called from, you can be charged as much as $2,500.00 or more. So it would be a good idea not to call any numbers back that you don't know who you are calling. Here are some area codes that you never want to call a number back if you don't recognize the other 7 numbers with it. These are legitimate area codes but in other countries ......273 is an unassigned area code but shows up as an area code with 7 numbers & is more than likely a bad person calling......284 is in the Virgin Islands where a lot of bad people call from so if you don't know anyone in the Virgin Islands, it would be best not to answer this number or call it back or you will be charged a lot of money on your phone bill......649 is in the Turks & Caicos Islands so again, unless you know a person's exact number there, don't answer or call back or it will cost you a lot of money......664 is in Montserrat, a British overseas Territory in the Caribbean & the same thing goes as what I said with those other numbers ......784 is in Saint Vincent & the Grenadines & the same goes for this number as it will cost you to call it back, especially if it's a bad person's numbers......809 is in the Dominican Republic & the same goes for this number if you don't know an exact number to someone here as you will be billed hundreds if not thousands of dollars on your phone bill......876 is a Jamaican area code......I read that the area code 211 is an unregistered area code so you definitely don't want to answer anything with this area code as it would be illegal for someone to have this area code to use since it is unregistered & unassigned to anywhere in the US at this time.
