I kept ignoring the call, finally answered it, he said I qualify for $9,000. I said that's too unbelievable. ..call 210-757-0739...of course I didnt, I Googled the number and seen all these post about this, too good to be true, money...just another scam, taught me not to do surveys on phone. That's how they got my info..
It's a Scam-the Government does not randomly call people and award them thousands of dollar because they are a good citizen, pays their bills on time or haven't filed bankruptcy. In addition, these criminals will have you pay an acquisition fee (maybe $250-$500 or so). So they get your money and you get taken to the cleaners. You get no free money. I received a call today letting me know that I had been selected by the government to receive a free grant for $9000.00 because I had always had great credit and never declared bankruptcy. They told me that I didn't have to give any personal information and all that I needed was identification# BU1339 to be able to pick up the money. My instructions were to call Daniel Carter back at 210-757-0739 ext. 619200. after a good friend and I researched we found this is a scam so I played along and said that I was going to go pick up the money. Before I hung up the information I read on the scam said to ask who is Secretary of State of the United States so I did and he hung up. I called him back and he said that he had put me on hold to fill out form and didn't hang up on me. The scam is that they told me that I have to pay the state tax on this money and he said it would be $250.00 to pick up $3000.00 cash and the rest will be a $6000.00 check from the government which I needed to call from parking lot before I went in to get money.
Same call and i told them yesterday it was a scam they called me from block number every time then transferred me to his manager who gave me that 210.757.0739 and it was the same exact guy who transferred me to his supervisor he started raising his voice and getting irritated bc i told him it's a scam
