We attempted to rent a home found on Criagslist and this was the contact number of the person who supposedly owned the home. He (conveniently) is now living in San Antonio, TX and his home for rent is in Pell City, AL! This number is nothing more than a rental SCAMMER as I found out after further research. Do not communicate with this fraud.

I recently this today after answering a Craigslist
The same as the others but I'm in Michigan. Always always ALWAYS do some digging on anything that will have you pay money to a contact through the internet as well as meeting anyone face to face. If you are to meet anyone face to face for any type of trade swap or exchange of merchandise and/or cash, arrange the meeting to be in the parking lot of your nearest law enforcement. The only reason this person persists is that others are not so diligent so please pass the word on social media or directly to friends and family!
Same exact email that someone was sent to me yesterday from an ad I replied to on Craigslist. All the change it the City, States and use a different name.

This was what I received - I would think Craigslist has a way of reporting scams but I can't find it. Thank Goodness I decided to research their information before taking it any further. What sucks is I was really excited about this house they listed on Craiglist :( But oh well at least I didn't fall for it thanks to everyone that posted on this.
