Received robo phone call from the above number at 1614 hours this date. Nobody responded when I answered. Verizon said the phone call could not be completed as dialed.
I turned off my landline my wife was going to use for an at-home nursing documents job (she got another job but we have left the Suddenlink phone line operational. Big mistake! Although nobody and I mean nobody other than Suddenlink was given this number we had over 300 calls in three months. Sometimes 10 a day. All were junk or spam or illegal calls. I finally just unplugged it and just will use it in emergencies. What a waste of technology to be harassed so badly. Anyway our cell phones get about 5 scam or solicitation calls per day, including this number listed. Our policy is, if its not displaying a known friend or business then we never answer. That is what the answer service is for. If their is no message left then I know the call had a 95% chance of being hostile. I do have a business and new clients call me. 80% will leave a message. Some people do not so I might lose their business because of the lousy spammers ruining it for everyone. I do check the call numbers on Google and find almost all are scams. So I immediately block them. I am elderly and in bad health so these calls do affect me dealing with them. Blocking is a great help, but I still think the government should be smart enough to stop 80% of these problem callers. Out of control phone harassment is apparently not on the government priority list.
