Got a call on my cell phone. Unsolicited call to reduce my insurance. Called them back and tried to talk to the person on the other end. Told them I was on a no call list and this was my cell phone. They hung up tried to call back. They would answer and hang up. without talking to me. Kept trying to call back and finally the somehow blocked me or changed the number because I got the "this number is no longer in service. Tried calling from another number and got the same message.
Got a call with a pre-recorded message. Since I live in San Antonio, I thought it might be something important and answered the unknown caller. Was greeted by pre-recorded message about my car insurance. I pressed "1" to be connected to a person. The woman who answered went into her spiel, and and I asked her to tell me the name of the company. She replied, "The Insurance Exchange." I asked if she was aware of the "do not call" registry, and she disconnected.
Called my cell phone. I never give that number to anyone. I was not around to answer it but now I will be sure not to. I'm also on the U.S. and state no call lists.
