Oh, Cindy--60 years old and still not grown up. I'm 51 and an attorney who probably knows more about politics and history than you will ever know. Try to stop judging so much and maybe you can still enjoy what's left of your life. Personally, I don't care what you and your conservative friend on the phone recording think politically (I can only guess that they also called and annoyed you to the point that you googled the phone number and ended up here with the rest of us). But I don't need anyone calling up my house and intruding on the privacy of my home life with unwelcome messages (be they tele-marketers or politicos). If you're truly conservative as you portray yourself, surely you must agree with that.
By the way, did you know that the "red" states are the ones who take the majority of "handouts" in America and that the "blue" states are the ones who pay for them? You might want to try doing a little research of your own. And no, I am fortunate that I do not need public assistance. I provide for my family along with donating to charities and doing volunteer work for church and for those less fortunate. I hope for your sake that you never become sick or have an accident that requires you to accept help from others. It sounds like you think all men are islands, so I suspect you would rather die than allow someone to help you.
