You need to do your own homework, bank deregulation that got us into trouble started in 1999 when Clinton signed S.900 into law. The Democrates that are most verbal in their attacks against Reagan/Bush voted for this legislation. Check it out for yourself

look - i am a conservative, do not like the economy and didn't vote for Obama. That's not the point. In California it is illegal to make pre-recorded telephone calls without a real person announcing the fact that there is going to be a recorded message. If you find out who this is, you can sue them. In the meantime, report the telephone number to the PUC (in California) and to whatever agency might handle these matters in your state. This is not a political forum. It is a forum to get rid of unwanted and unsolicited annoying calls, no matter who they are from!
I live in Colorado is there anything we can do to stop these stupid calls. I too called back and it is busy "robo" calling other people who don't want to hear their message.
ring, ring no one there. don't call list? i'm not sure which is worse, unsolicited merchendise or political hot air. Wake up! if you really want to do something ask why the "Prompt Corrective Action" law is being disregarded to the tune of TRILLIONS of taxpayer dollars. Please see U.S. Code 12, Chapter 16, Section 1831o. It is a FEDERAL LAW that the dishonest bankers and their friends be removed, immediately. Then maybe the government would have a little spare change to go after the phone soliciters and spammers that are using our money to bother us. whatever
it must be that a group of rich people are getting together to have tea parties or something to complain about having to pay a little more in taxes because last i heard anyone making less than 250 thousand a year will be getting a tax break of some kind...
