ID just shows "Texas".  They won't leave message. I did answer once and was told that my wife owed back taxes from almost 20 years ago to the state.  I think this is a scam!!

Texas doesn't have state income taxes, so she wouldn't owe taxes to the state unless it was a property tax.

I've been receiving calls from this number several times a day for the past few weeks - ever since I canceled my Washington Post subscription.

They call, I answer, they hang up

For several weeks, I have been called by this number.  When I call it back, I get a recording telling me to push 1 if I want my name taken off their list.  When I push 1, I get a recording saying that this voice mail is full.
I have done this three times at different times of day and still get the same recordings.  This is harassment.  They call every day more than once per day.
