Phone call from woman with heavy accent, claiming to be from Southwest Airlines. Said they are opening a new site and wanted to invite me down to party. Would give us 2 free roundtrip airline tickets to our choice of 3 locations, Florida, Vegas, California, (and,,I can't remember 4th). Anyways, after further into the call, they handed me over to their manager to confirm my name and said that if we finish their presentation we would receive a bonus gift of a free rental car and giftcard for food at our resort. I think this is like a timeshare presentation or travel club. Their location is off I-10 and in the Colonade SHopping center near a Bridal store. I backed out, I don't have enough days in the week to waste 2-3hours time listening to a dang presentation and then someone ppressuring me to buy stuff I don't need. Just say NO and hang up. They called on my cell phone--same area code as my own number, so I thought it was someone I knew.
I knew I was wrong as soon as the woman on the other end started talking--obviously from an overseas call center.
I screamed at her and she hung up.
