Got a recorded call from 210-981-1069 that said they are from the United States Tax Treasury Dept and that they had a "legal notice" for the person at this number and that I should immediately return their call to avoid a lawsuit and/or arrest.
This is obviously a [***] scam. I think I'll call them back from a payphone and make arrangements to meet them to "make payment" at the local police department.
Called from Robot Voice claiming to be from US Treasury dept. Stating if I did not call back I could be arrested and that there was a lawsuit for tax fraud. What a scam!
I have received 2 call in a 10 minute time from stating that it was the US Treasury Dept and if I don't call back they will issue an warrant for my arrest for Tax Fraud in Federal Claims Court Give me a Break!!!!
Received a call from an automated voice saying legal action was being taken against me for tax fraud and to call them back before being arrested. Definitely a scam. I've received a call like this before telling me to pay $4,000 or the police were coming to get me right now and arrest me at my job.
