Scam automated message saying "they" received a legal notice about tax fraud against me and to call the number back right away before it went to federal court or I was arrested. They didn't know my name or even identify their company name.
Called back and asked "James Cameron" what part of India he called from. I stand corrected it was Philippines.
After ribbing him about a minute, he told me they scammed "10,000 people" when I kept going he lost patience and called me "Mo.f..er" and then a couple "F..you!" for good measure. Number blocked.
They also called yesterday from an "unassigned number" 978-522-4220 that resisted one-step addition to my T-Lock
Message similar to those above that they were from United States Treasury and something about tax fraud and claims court. I called back for giggles and someone with a foreign accent answered "United States Treasury". When I started laughing and said I only called to hear the scam he laughed and hung up
