Folks, I get these calls and HATE them. After my Panasonic wireless phone call blocker filled up, I found something you may be interested in. NOTE: This is not my product, and I only speak of it because it works so well. Look up "Pro Blocker Pro", model CT-CID803. Once you figure out how to use it (the Chinese-English instructions are funny, but not helpful). You see them everywhere for about $39, but I found mine here: http://www.tomtop.com/search/call-blocker.html for about $18 . . . and if you are a "hellovashopper" like me, you can probably find it for less. Look into it. This gizmo has earned it's place in my home.
GOOD JOB EVERYBODY!! Not picking up the phone (even to cut them off) is the best thing. And also not a good idea to call the number back. If you do either of those things you will get even more scam calls. Everybody needs to stop answering these calls because nobody in the government is going to do anything to them.
That's all well and good as long as your job doesn't require you to answer all calls and to make a wellness check call back if there is no voice. If continued calling, we just report as false 911 calls.
Same I asked to be removed and the lady was like ok. Then I kept online to see if she hung up. She didn't so I repeated take me off. She got real nasty and said "why are you still on if you don't want to talk to me" I replied take me off and want to talk to a manager she then said "getof my line you [***]".
