The caller said that they were contacting me "on behalf of Nationwide" - then tried to pitch an after-market auto warranty for a car I I had traded in three years ago. I just said, "no" and hung up on them.
I get this call every day at work. I recognize the number and usually just let it ring. This time I picked up and held. Got an annoying buzz, then a human being said "hello". When I identified myself as a secretary to a judge, he immediately hung up. Not sure if that will get me on the do not call list, but I'm about ready to report it to my state's consumer affairs dept.
