I heard from a friend about this scam. It goes like this or so I was told... An UNKNOWN number calls your phone. When you answer, they some how piggy-back on you number and place international calls.This happens so fast (within seconds) at the beginning of the call that it is virtually undetectable. I have heard the call is usually routed through an international long distance carrier base in Madagascar. So now I have to ask...did the caller say "Tune-et" or Tunis? ( :
another one of those guys claiming to be from microsoft. said he could fix my computer that is about to crash. that i downloaded a virus and it sent a warning to their headquarter. wow!
