Take the 'survey', 'possibly' earn a measly $ 20, and 'possibly' have your personal information stolen, and finances ruined. Those taking the chance are likely players of Russian Roulette.

Have called several times (every day for 4 days), leaving 1 voice mail claiming to be the US Department of Justice to participate in study on health and safety, will send $20 for participation. They leave number 1-855-749-6249. May be legit, but I never get the call at an appropriate time to answer, and I'm really not interested.
I am now getting these scam calls on my cell phone. Until a couple days ago, they were only on my landline, and that is why I've kept my landline. Very upsetting.
The first time they called, a woman identified herself as being from the Department of Justice. It sounded like an automated message. She gave a number for me to call back for an appointment to take their survey and promised a $20 fee. Of course this is a scam. Seriously, would the DOJ call in person? And would they really pay someone $20 for participating in the survey? I don't think so.... but if somebody was dumb enough to fall for this, then the caller would ask for their social security number, name and address so they could "pay"that $20 fee. And that would result in identity theft!
