Got a call from Spartan Cap and I tried to call them back and take our number off their call list and I get a recording that the number is disconnected or no longer in service. I called them 5 minutes after I received their incoming call.
This place calls all the time for the owner. Never leaves a message just hangs up. Can't call them back either. I get a message that all circuits are busy. Rude scam artists praying on people.
I have gotten calls from this number several times. Most of the time there is an immediate hang up but there are times when someone will ask for the owner of the company by first name only and they do act like they know him and that they are returning a call from him. Call ends in hang up when I question the nature of his call.
CALLER ID DISPLAYED "LLOYD'S MERCHANTI" 212-293-0004. THE CALLER INTERUPTED ME AS I ANSWERED GIVING THE COMPANY NAME,COMING ACROSS VERY AGRESSIVE AND RUDE. HE ASKED FOR THE OWNER BY HIS FIRST NAME, I SAID HE WASN'T IN & ASKED IF I COULD TAKE A MESSAGE. HE WANTED HIS CELL PHONE NUMBER... I EXPLAINED THAT I WASN'T AT LIBERTY TO GIVE OUT THAT INFORMATION & HE HUNG UP. IM GUESSING IT'S NOT A LEGITIMATE COMPANY.
