About that number. I agree with you all as far as where it comes from as well as the company in which there is little information on. I was offered "position" as an agent with their company in which at first, I thought was legit until I saw their practices....much like another company whose bullet I caught to my dismay and naivete' of course.
The pitch is that Sales Connect or salesconx.com represents a company called Present.ly and another referred to as BobbleHead; two social media outlets (that no company has heard of) much like Twitter that they were looking to shop around to the likes of Fortune 5 to 1K companies. They made claims that companies with well known brand names, images, etc are very interested in them but I digress based on my follow ups. The agents would be working soley on commission out of their homes using suspect tactics to solicit. The interesting thing about it is that the agents who have made long standing careers with Sales Connect to managerial roles were rather lax in communicating or prospecting...sometimes weeks at a time without picking up the phone and making sales calls/pitches that I am sure were annoying to anyone who bothered listening. To me, this was a strong affirmation of what a complete waste of time an "opportunity" is with this company.
As I do recall, the heads of the company is one named Amy Trapp and a Brian last name I cannot recall.
