Alex, with Laidlaw, asked for a long-retired CEO. I wonder why so many people call and ask for people who are not here any longer. Maybe they buy old information? I've been here for 10 years and never took a call from Laidlaw.
Chris Gallow I think he said his name was, I asked what the call was concerning and he hung up. I didn't even get to tell him I am on the do not call list!
Alex from Laidlaw called and asked for my Boss - I asked him what he wanted and he told me it was business - I told him I could help him and he hung up on me - I called back and left him a message that I didn't appreciate him being rude to me and told him to never call back here. This had been the Third time he has called and was rude to me
After I answer: "Tell Larry I'm on the phone it's Chris Gallow",
me: "and who are you with"
Him: "he knows who I am he's expecting my call, just put me through, you're wasting my time"
me: "And the name of your firm?"
Him: "it's Laidlaw"
me: (really annoyed at his pushiness now) "Laidlaw what"
Him: "Stop wasting my time, is he there or not"
me: (after looking up the phone number and realizing that I've told them a dozen times not to call, I put him on hold.) Come back to the phone, and say "I just spoke with Larry he has no idea who you are, and has no interest in your scam"
Him: "screw you [***], I'll call back when you're not on you're period"
Saw this on my caller ID. Left no message. Actually they couldn't get through because Mega Call Blocker just lets the info come through, not the ring or the call. This time caller ID said "Chris P." and yes, the quotes were there.
