Got a call at 3AM...of course, you wake up dreading that it is a call that something horrible has happened to a family member. Then hard to fall back asleep. I can't believe they think this will help in their marketing scam. Our politicians need to do a better job for us. Hey NY, these are your folks doing the calling, fix the problem.

Some new telephone systems, e.g., some Panasonic phones, let you block numbers. Mine will block up to 30 numbers and I have used them all.

I'm on the Do Not Call list and got a call about shipping me a media alert. Sorry, I"m only in my 40s and don't need it. Total scam. My senior citizen mother has been getting this kind of scam calls on and off for months. I with the Justice Dept and FCC would bust this ring once and for all.
