There must be enough gullible people out there to make this worth the time but it's hard to imagine!
Man called and asked for the person who handles the Verizon account. Hung up on him. Called back a few hours later, same voice on a voice mail that says it is a non-working number at Unicredit and to call another number at Unicredit 212 672 6000. It is clearly some kind of a scam.
Caller I.D. said Unicredit Bank - 212-672-6288 Woman asked for the person who handles the Verizon account. Said she was "Operator 672" and this was a "confirmation call" to let me know that we qualified for....." I asked, "Operator 672 of WHAT COMPANY?" She hung up on me.
Received call from Unicredit Bank 212-672-6288 (caller ID). A woman asked for the person that handles the Verizon account, when I asked what this was in regards to, she sighed, made some weird sound and hung up on me. When I tried to call back, all I received was a fast busy signal.
