I live in North Manchester, IN. I received a recorded message 8/5/08 at 9:30 pm from (didn't get the institution- first federal?) saying that my 'card had been suspended' and asked me to call 212 738-9821. I didn't call.
Received recorded message claiming to be from Midwest America Federal Credit Union and stating that my card had been suspended. Went on to indicate that I should call 212-738-9821 to reactivate. There has been a large number of these type of calls today (2008-08-05) in the Fort Wayne Indiana area, perhaps others as well.
Similar to the previous posting, I received a recorded voicemail message yesterday (8/5/08) claiming that my 3 Rivers FCU card has been suspended. The message said I should call 212-738-9821. (I recently moved to a different state, but we still have this 3 Rivers account open in Fort Wayne, IN.)

I received a voicemail from 212.738.9821. The institution name was cutoff in the voicemail. It was an electronic female voice telling me my account had been suspended and to call 212.738.9821. I tried calling the phone number and got a message that the number is not a valid number. From the other posts, it sounds like fraud to me. Be wary.
