I got the same kind of call from someone saying they were going to "save you money" on your long distance calls. Joke's on them it's aVerizon phone with unlimited long distance nation wide. WTF?
I asked what he was selling and he said he was trying to save me money on my long distance. This guy was just plain rude. I asked if he was as big an a__hole in person as he is on the phone. He hung up on me or I did on him. These people need to be tarred and feathered. I can't believe there are those out there that as desperate enough for a job to do this kind of thing.
They call every other day. Today I told the woman to remove me from the list and she laughed at me and said she was trying to save my business $. I said I was not interested in her scam. Laughed again and hung up. How do i block this #?
A lady asked for who was in charge of the phone accts and said it wasn't a sales call. She then said that she was calling on behalf of all major phone companies to let us know that there will be a reduction on the fees for all our long distance and international calls. She said that they were the only billing company for all phone companies. She said the name was NB.. - sorry don't remember all the letters she said. She cracked a couple of stupid jokes - and than wanted my name and started to say that she needed to make sure that all of our lines qualify and i told her that this was a strange call and i wasn't going to agree to anything and hung up.
