It's BNLD (Business Network Long Distance Inc) from what the caller told me. They mention AT&T and I believe they say they're affiliated or working with them. If you question them you realize they don't have the same info AT&T has. It's about that time, when they realize they can't scam you, that they get very rude and hang up. Bunch of jerks. I wonder why AT&T doesn't sue.
get these calls several times a month at my place of work. The woman said she was calling on behalf of all phone companies about a increase in rates and would like to speak to the person in charge of the phone bill. I told her she was not available and to take us off her list. She was very rude and told me it is state required to let all businesses know about rate increases. I told her once again to take us off her list. She said there was no "Do Not Call List" for businesses and hung up. Name on the caller id was: NWYRCYN01 I have no clue what that means. Obviously not legit
Lady on the phone just as everyone listed here, the rate reductions, etc. Wanted me to confirm the phone number and I refused and advised our corporate account was under a contract and was not interested. She promptly said have a nice day and hung up.
