Scammers trying to get remote access to my computer. I told them I'm not that dumb & this is a scam! don't call again & slammed the phone in their ear! Yes that is the only thing a land line is still good for slamming haha!
Got a call from a person stating he was from Microsoft and that there was problems with my computer and he would walk me through them. I told him "no way."
Some dumbass who can barely speak english was claiming to be with Microsoft and he tried to convince me that my Apple Computer is running Microsoft Windows. As if I would pollute my wonderful machine with such a piece of garbage as an operating system made by Microsoft. What a douchey [***]!
What they want to do is gain remote access to your computer. If you let them, they will highjack your computer and will be able to do whatever they want, including stealing your identity or worse - they could download gay midget porn and email it to your coworkers. So, don't give them any info. Instead, tell these Microsoft wannabe ID thieves to go [***] themselves with their mother's king size pig dick.
If you call their number back, you get a "This Number is No Longer in Service Message." It you don't hang up though, after about 4 minutes of dead air, it starts to ring. After about 30 rings, it hangs up. If enough folks call it, then it will hose up their phone service.
This guy with heavy accent told me that he is from Windows support... Ha Ha Ha!
He said my machine is infected and received warning report on central site where monitoring network.
I am professional programmer, so I knew where he is getting at, but I decided to waste his time by acting like novice user.
"Where is Windows Key? What? you want me to press Windows Key and R together.... that's not easy... etc..."
He asked me to read the screen, I told him, "You can not understand what I read, even I read it perfectly. it's written in Chinese etc..."
Eventually he guided me to the Site www.support.me, which is LogMeIn Rescue site, probably he wants to take control over my PC, which is no no no.... I hanged up said Good Bye
Same Indian Call Center accent - claiming to be the Windows Support Center. They had also noted issues with my Windows machine... Problem is I do not even HAVE a windows Machine - and If I did it would be Microsoft calling not Windows. Microsoft does not call! These People are scammers
