Scammers trying to get remote access to my computer. I told them I'm not that dumb & this is a scam! don't call again & slammed the phone in their ear! Yes that is the only thing a land line is still good for slamming haha!
This number calls me at least three times a day. Finally answered to see what they were on about and heard nothing but silence followed by the disconnect tone 10 seconds later.
Got a call from number which I didn't know, only ID was New York NY, sent it to voicemail where it left a short silence and hung up. Mr. Number app on my phone ID'd the number as a spammer running the 'we're from Microsoft and need to fix your computer' scam. Added to block list.
I get a call from these idiots at least once a week for MONTHS. They say they are from Windows (that's IF you can understand what they are saying) I've finally found the only way to get them to hang up is to tell them I don't own a computer.
