They are stupid--keep on calling you and keep on pushing you to set up a conference call to talk to our CEO. I was really surprised the way he talked to me this morning,putting his best, pushing me to do things like calling our CEO and than setting up the time for the conference call!!! They really suck. First time they called they said they are from GDS Energy. Next time they called and said they are from NexGen Energy. The person who called told his name is Tom Smuchtz.
These people rally suck.
You can help by calling the new York District Attorneys Office at 212-335-8900 the case number to complain is 22287. They are launching a investigation in GDS and the more people that call and complain about their business practices the better it is. You have to give you name & number, but it stays completely anonymous. I urge you all to call.
These guys at this number are definitely scammers. They called offering some sponsorship package to my company with all these executives that were going to be there. It was the most high pressure sales I've ever heard. They kept calling and would talk to me for days it felt like just trying to finagle the deal. It got so high pressure I started getting a little suspicious. I was also suspicious when often times they were calling from an unknown number. I finally told him I didn't have his contact info and when he gave me his number (212-920-8181) I googled it and look what I found! This blog full of other people who've had the same experience with these guys.
I worked temporarily for this company's Cardiff based operation, it was a way of bringing in some income whilst looking for a real job - sadly all of what has been said above is true and incredibly pathetic looking back, but it was a way of paying the mortgage whilst finding something more suitable!
