Tech CU hired an outside telemarketer to help us alert all of our members about the upcoming materials they would be receiving.

Why are we spending money on "outside" telemarketers if we are based on trust amongst our members? Why are we in such a hurry to expand our "services" to better serve the interests of the "directors" (read page 14, para 2: Federal law prohibits any director...from receiving any economic benefit...Members of the board of a mutual savings bank MAY BE COMPENSATED...the following 2 sentences clearly proves that this charter change is to benefit the directors only). No wonder Director Lloyd Kohn is retiring after all these years.
I received a call today (6/2) at 11:15 AM; did not pick up. I don't belong to a credit union so shouldn't be on their 'list.' This sounds highly suspicious. Good luck to you all.
