I got a phone call telling me I won a vacation to Florida, then a cruise. I got really excited, so I would have believed anything. When she asked me for my Visa number, I told her I don't have a credit card. She quickly ended the conversation, told me I'd receive information about the trip in the mail, and hung up. A day later, my friend got the same phone call. We had both entered the same draw at the Fair.
Seriously, if you get a call from this number, it is definitely a scam. We have done research and know that it's not valid. If I had a Visa card, I would have fallen for it. I think these people need to get a real job.
I received a call from this phone number first on my home phone and then on my cell. I didn't answer my cell phone and they didn't leave a message.
My boyfriend called the number back from my home phone and spoke to someone who was very rude. She asked who he was, and when he told her his name and that he was calling because someone from that number had called our house, she became snotty and said "so?". She then told him that she was leaving and offered her "sympathies" to him. Completely bizarre. I called the number back and it just rang and rang and eventually disconnected.

Recieved a call, but since it identified itself that it was from NY, and I am out of the country, and that I have no friends with such a number, I ignored it.
Must have not been important, because they didn't leave a message.

They have been calling me CONSTANTLY for the past month. When I try to call the number back there is no answer. I called the number from my office phone and received no answer once again. After calling 3 or 4 times I received "your call cannot be completed as dialed."
This [***] has been repeatedly calling my line for about a month now, until I finally picked it up, and he asks for me by name.
I don't give out this phone number to anyone.
He claims I entered a draw for a trip to Bahamas or Cruise ship. When I ask him why he is calling me from NY he won't answer and instead asks "Didn't you put your number in with such 'n such!"
I say "No, why would I? Now please stop calling me now"
And he replies "Yeah, f**k you" and hangs up.
This is probably some elaborate call-center from a large vacuum-cleaner company who's aim is to come sell you something at your door. The old "Guess what? You won a prize! Now watch this vacuum cleaner demo!"
