I got a phone call telling me I won a vacation to Florida, then a cruise. I got really excited, so I would have believed anything. When she asked me for my Visa number, I told her I don't have a credit card. She quickly ended the conversation, told me I'd receive information about the trip in the mail, and hung up. A day later, my friend got the same phone call. We had both entered the same draw at the Fair.
Seriously, if you get a call from this number, it is definitely a scam. We have done research and know that it's not valid. If I had a Visa card, I would have fallen for it. I think these people need to get a real job.
I've been getting calls since the weekend. I entered a draw at an expo to win a trip and I'm fairly sure this is how they got my number. Whenever I call back there is no answer.
Yea, I went to a show last weekend.. Got a call from this number, the guy said I won a trip to the bahamas? Im like I won?? He RUDELY responded, NO you QUALIFY. Im like Uhhh... Hes like "Whats wrong? You sound scared? Are you interested or not? Do you have the money or Don't you?" Those were his exact rude words. I figured Im not giving money to a guy who has terrible phone manner... I said i don't think...
Then he cut me of and said "OK! BYE!"
I put my name in for a trip door prize at the Taboo Show in Calgary, Canada last weekend. This is such a hoax - I am contacting the organizers of that Expo and putting in a complaint.
