I came home to a message on my vm from this number stating they are Aetna and need to discuss my claim. I don not have Aetna!! But I used to have Blue Cross/Blue Shield and I see below others have gotten call stating that too!.
I keep getting calls from this number and one person named Joanna left her extension 394 for me to call her back. I returned the call and she said they are from Aetna and keep asking me to make an appointment at my convenience at night or even on weekends for a home care provider to come to my house, check my blood pressure, talk about my medical history etc. They are pretty persistent with making this appointment and they said its free and part of my benefits. I find this call rather strange.
I got this call from osvaldoolivan -m today claiming he wanted to come and visit me for a complete free examination . I think I will forward his name and phone number to the New York City Police Dept and the FBI .
If Aetna/BlueCross hired these people to do home-visit they must need customers to make money which accounts to their calling persistence. I see my doctor every six months and would rather I got more time with her than letting a stranger into my home to collect information. I did accept such a home-care visitor many, many years ago but felt it served no benefit to me. If you need home nursing, your doctor should arrange for that. On the other side of the issue; I can appreciate there are older solitary folks who may be living in less than proper, healthy conditions. I called back and said I would rather they not call me next year since I live three blocks from my doctor.
