first time being called from this number. Looked like a weird # on caller ID so I just picked up receiver and immediately hung up. Will block call if it continues.
I got several of these and did not answer, finally, after reading about this scam, I did answer, but I answered this way, "United States Intercontinental Marshalls Office" "Department of Media And Phone Crimes" "How may I assist you" when they launched into their scam, I told them this wasnt a private line, but a cellular phone belonging to the Department of Media and Phone Crimes, which tracks felony use of phones for Intercontinental crimes- I asked what he wanted to report to the federal government, names, scams, etc... the Indian gentleman seemed very upset... and told me he had the wrong number and hung up... I havent heard back from them, though before he hung up, I did ask for his name, Raoul, and I did inform him that all calls on this line were being taped and traced. At first he was fine with this,cause I dont think it sank in, until I again, identified that this was a "federal line for reporting media and phone crimes"... he vanished. I dont think he will be calling back.
12130000000 this number has called me a few times in the last few days, i finally recieved a voicemail and it was nothing but 45 seconds of a loud annoying buzzing noise. i've tried to call the number back and its an invalid number does anyone have any ideas who they are????
