They called me saying something about I needed to call them back ASAP as they had some tax case against me and that I was going to be arrested. Mind you they did not ask for anyone. I have no ideal what these people are talking about. Then my phone just rang again from a number in Texas with the same message. This crab has to stop!
Constant multiple unsolicited calls from this number. Thanks to Caller-ID, we never answer, and they never leave messages. So much for registering with national DO-NOT-CALL. It's obviously past time to invest in a call-blocker. Truly maddening, though.
Called my cell phone at 5:17 pm EST. Caller ID said it was from Los Angeles, CA. Recording stated, "Congratulations! You have been selected to win a free cruise..." Click! I hung up and marked that number to be added to my auto reject list.
Lots of hang-ups, others report some kind of travel scam asking for credit card information. Possibly related to the notorious "Bahamas Free Cruise" scam. I will report to FTC.
