Called saying there were from the "legal department" but failed to tell me the company name. Said it was a legal matter and the police would be arresting my wife in the morning if she didn't call back. SCAMMERS!!!!! I hate these pieces of [***]!
I got a call today from this number. They left a message saying we had to have our lawyer call them back and they were from "Legal Department". I blocked their number.

I got a call on my house phone. He left a message. He said that his name was David Johnson with the department of legal affairs. He was trying to reach me regarding a very important issue. This a verbal notification for me in regards to ____ action to me on started on my name. His phone number is 323-285-8982. If for any reason I should ____ i should have an attorney call back or something would happen. Looking forward to speak with you. Have a blessed day. I could tell that he wasn't an American just by how he ended the call.
I too just received this message. I let it go to voicemail and they said the same exact thing as you mention. The name she provided was Soon Tato, but with a very heavy Middle Eastern Accent. How can we protect ourselves from these types of fraudsters. Obviously writing our politicians isn't helpful....
