This number 213-228-8970 shows up several times a day on my caller ID but never leaves a message. I don't know who they are but would very much like for them to stop calling.
Woman claming to be from Dell asking about PC I just purchased. It started out as a survey, then asked about my 1yr warranty. She then started her spill about how they can upgrade my warranty for $149 and would last till 2012. She cut me off and said she'll change the warranty right now for that price. I told her No I didn't want it, she asked why and I told her I don't keep PCs that long. Got really pushy at the end. I guess I'll need to watch my account to see if there is any odd charges now.
I recently (3-4 weeks ago) purchased a Dell laptop and got two calls in a period of four hours today. I didn't answer and they left no voicemail. How unprofessional.
However, 15 months ago I purchased a Dell desktop and don't recall experiencing this.
