I get calls like this - To the point I seldom answer my cell anymore unless the caller ID shows it's a wanted caller. If someone I don't know wants to talk to me, he can leave a message.
I got another call from 213-235-1026 again this morning. Didn't answer, of course. I'm calling that number back now, letting it ring. 4 min 15 seconds now.
I think I heard a "click" like the call was being transferred shortly after I started this call - Probably directed my call to a system place where no one actually hears it ringing. So, of course, I don't really care or expect an answer. God forbid that I should get emotionally involved in this nonsense that some corporation drops into my home.
I looked into Verizon's "Call Blocking" service the other day - Looks to me like it costs more money per month to block numbers you want to block. That's bad - Why wouldn't a phone company run a scam where they make annoying calls, and then charge a fee to block them? Seriously.
