Receive several calls a day in the evening from this number (Telefund Inc.), but do not pick up nor do they leave a voice message. Calling me after 8:00 p.m. isn't cutting it and I believe illegal, so I'll do my research, then find out who to report this too. Regardless of if I'm on donor's list, it doesn't mean I want to be called for contributions. Mail/Email is perfectly fine. It appears this company changes their phone numbers often which appears deceptive. The company is a privately held, fund-raising company according to their LinkedIn profile, which is not a "call type" option below.
Caller didn't leave a message on my machine and the caller id said "Out of Area" which probably means telemarketer/scammer. So I ran 3 reverse traces using 3 different types of traces and all were blocked for a person or business name and the only information was a general location of Los Angeles, California using a service provider of PAETEC Communications Inc.-CA which is favored by scammers. This is definitely a scammer that is either spoofing numbers and/or using a voip system while phishing for personal information and running some scam ( i.e. Human Rights Campaign or Org., Outstanding Debt Collector, Telefund Inc.(Charity), ASPCA etc. ). A legitimate business would never hide their identity and location from the public by blocking a trace. DON'T ANSWER AND DO NOT CALL BACK FOR ANY REASON. Block and report to the proper authorities. Phone companies should be held responsible for these types of calls since they are making money from them by providing the systems and services that these scammers use and possibly farming out numbers too.
