IT'S A SCAM. - They call often from different #s in Michigan. Kalamazoo and Wayne. They tried to give me a 120$ BP gas card if I would just pay the shipping of 9.95$. I told the lady that I heard about this scam and she starting yelling at me that this isn't a scam. They have the last 4 digits of your visa debit or CC, your name and the exp. date. They want you to give them the first twelve digits so they can run up phony transactions. The funny thing was they gave me the last 4 digits of a card I cancelled last month because I thought they had too much info on me. IT'S A SCAM.
These jerks keep calling my cell phone about some government grants that I applied for. I dident apply for sh$%. Next time they call I am going to let them know who they are f$#%(# with.
Everyone should ask to be put o the do not call list, and then file a case the FCC with the link JJ posted. When enough people do this they will be shut down.
Been getting like 2-3 calls per day from this number to my cell phone for the past two weeks. They do not leave messages. Calls between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM EDT. When I called the number back to tell them to stop calling me, I get a recording telling me my call cannot be completed.
I have filed a complaint with the FCC per the link posted on page 1 of this thread. I suggest, as the above poster did, that you all do as well.
These people are ruthless. They keep calling me at random times during the day. While I am sitting in class or eating dinner. When I pick up no one is on the other end. When I tried to call the number back, nothing happened. I am sick of getting phone calls from these people!
