IT'S A SCAM. - They call often from different #s in Michigan. Kalamazoo and Wayne. They tried to give me a 120$ BP gas card if I would just pay the shipping of 9.95$. I told the lady that I heard about this scam and she starting yelling at me that this isn't a scam. They have the last 4 digits of your visa debit or CC, your name and the exp. date. They want you to give them the first twelve digits so they can run up phony transactions. The funny thing was they gave me the last 4 digits of a card I cancelled last month because I thought they had too much info on me. IT'S A SCAM.
These calls come several times througout the day. When we answer, the phone goes silent, and then the calls come at least three times back to back after that.
I have been getting calls from this number (they called me on my cell which I never give this number to anyone) three calls between 8:00 am and 11:30 a.m. today and four calls yesterday. I am on the DNC List also and told them I was going to report them and they said they were excluded from this list. Is this possible? I thought only politicians and other people that have done work for you and charities were the only ones imune to this list.
