Received a call today saying I would be arrested for back taxes if I didn’t return a call right away to 213.438.9784. It was a recording. I called it back and spoke with a man with a VERY heavy Indian accent. Claimed his Badge number was 89230, employee name Shawn Miller, TB-503 notice warrant issued. Claiming that $1,960 for 2012 back taxes is owed, (I received a refund that year) became very aggressive in saying that I must pay the amount today in order to prevent officers from coming to arrest me and put me in jail for 6 months.
Received a "pre-recorded" call to my mobile phone (from 213-438-9784), stating that it was Officer Parker with the IRS and that they have filed a lawsuit against me that would result in jail time ... bla ... bla : I hung up cause I have better things to do with my time. I did report this to no-call and will look later to complain to IRS\Treasury\etc.
