Well I guess I pissed them off good. When this idiot calls with the heavy accent and tells me an active arrest warrant for tax evasion was just issued, and my arrest (and my wife) was imminent, I asked him if his mother was a curry [***]. And if her snatch stunk of the stuff (sorry ladies). Guy freaked out, I hang up. 10 minutes latter same call, this time a guy who could speak English--says he is Special Agent Baxter of the Treasury Department, and my previously "recorded " conversation was grounds for a terrorist threat (beats me LOL) so I say, listen scammster, you can go phock yourself, blow me and my dog and that's about all that's gonna happen here. But if I ever find you..... hung up. Now waiting for his supervisor to call ... and to think I thought today might be boring!
Jack Marshal was the name of the person who called and left a message. Then I called, a person names Carl Davidson answered and told me I owe $12,000 of a mistake in tax return of 2009. I asked about my options, he said there is none at this point and they are coming to my house for my arrest.
As we know, these people are scam artists and they need to be arrested. A couple of months ago, these same people left messages on my cell phone, which I did not fall for. People should be aware that when they receive calls like these to check the number on the internet for information. This same group called my house phone this morning with this same scam. What are the chances of that happening, different land line and cell phone numbers, same scam. When I would call with the house phone, no answer but using the cell phone, I did get the same person with the heavy accent to answer 3 times. The 2nd time he answered he hung up saying that I was stupid. The last time, I said that they weren't very professional to call someone stupid. No they won't answer my calls.
A man claiming to be named James Rabbin with a strong Indian accent left me a voice mail on May 5, 2015 at 8am. He informed me that he was calling from "the US department of treasury" and that the call was a second attempt and ignoring the call could result in a court case in front of the "Magestrate judge and grand jury" because of a criminal offense. He urged me to call him back to "help them help me"...
I was just contacted and spoke with someone who left and intimidating message on my phone yesterday. I asked alot of questions and the man (with a thick Indian accent as well) told me I owed the IRS 3,000.00 and that there was a warrant out for my arrest. When I called them back to tell them they were a fraud and that I was on the phone with the legitimate IRS, they hung. It is so sad others try to rob the innocent who are attempting to legitimately pay taxes. I am grateful for this cite.
I got a guy claiming Kevin Peterson said I owed 4000$ from 2006-2007 and there was a law suit filed against me. After asking a few questions he got mad and started to cuss me out.
