Well I guess I pissed them off good. When this idiot calls with the heavy accent and tells me an active arrest warrant for tax evasion was just issued, and my arrest (and my wife) was imminent, I asked him if his mother was a curry [***]. And if her snatch stunk of the stuff (sorry ladies). Guy freaked out, I hang up. 10 minutes latter same call, this time a guy who could speak English--says he is Special Agent Baxter of the Treasury Department, and my previously "recorded " conversation was grounds for a terrorist threat (beats me LOL) so I say, listen scammster, you can go phock yourself, blow me and my dog and that's about all that's gonna happen here. But if I ever find you..... hung up. Now waiting for his supervisor to call ... and to think I thought today might be boring!
I was called this morning from a male with a very strong middle Eastern accent. He said he was from the US Treasury claiming this had been their second attempt at contacting "you" and failure to contact them would result in criminal offense... Blah blah.. I hung up after that. Sounds like a load of honkey to me.
Same story. Just received a call about 20 minutes ago....
Stating there was a warrant for my arrest due to $4,864.32 in back taxes.
Cops were on the way to arrest me at my place of employment.
Middle eastern guy. Very strong accent difficult to understand.
an Asian guy left a message I didn't understand he said I had a warrant, I said I'll have my lawyer contact you , he called me layer, I said so are you! and hang up SCAM!!!!!
This same person called this morning and I hung up on him. I couldn't call him back on the number he called on buy he answered my cell phone. When I called him out on this, he called me stupid and hung up on me. Very professional.
Got a call from someone named Kevin Peterson (Phone: 213-260-3392; Badge ID 2267) claiming to be from the IRS Legal Notification Department. He said he was calling to inform me that the local law enforcement agent would be at my doorstep in LESS 30-40 minutes time to arrest me for criminal offense. He has a thick Indian accent and talks without punctuation. He will offer tax bond(s) to be purchased online. Please treat this as a hoax/scam.Refrain from offering any personal information. Don't get alarmed!
