Refused to divulge reason for contacting me when I truthfully denied ever living at address they provided. Best guess: Debt-collection, wrong debtor called.
The lady that called said my full name, and she was calling me to contact my sister. And to call a risk management services at 213-267-2489, and if not called that number by my sister, then further legal action may be taken.
Called a friend that I roomed with ~18 years ago and said I had a pending legal matter. I have a clean record monitored weekly, 800+ score. Scam, do not send any money. I listed them as a "Debt Collector" since there isn't a "Scam" option. They also use phone number 626-600-8776, you think they would've learned from their past "expericance" with this site.

These guys are not legit, do not pay anything until you have a validation notice. Once received, just forward the notice to the FTC. They are attempting to collect on a debt I resolved three years ago; and, they misrepresented the last date of activity by two years. They know just enough about the regs to sound professional, don't let it fool you. Called them a couple of times to get additional information. John Harris is the supervisor and there are two others who work there, Paul Wright and I believe the female is Melanie Green. They claim to have upwards of 75-150 people working out of that office and they have multiple offices throughout the United States. They will be more than glad to provide the mailing address, but they absolutely refuse to provide the physical office address, business type, other divisions, other office locations, etc. I was told a privacy waiver prohibited them from disclosing that information.
After relaying the issues I had with their tactics they informed me the "message must have gotten jumbled up." They also claim that they never make the calls themselves, the calls are actually managed by National Investigative Services. I asked for that company's information and was told John Harris was the only person who had it and he was out.
