I just got a phone call and them saying I'm being sued and gave a me case number 15oh22101 I hung up on them after I asked what disregarded in and they told me that they need it personal information to verify it was me so I hung up on them and search the number to see if it was a scam and I was right!!
Scammers from number 213-267-3496 called my cell and left a voicemail saying they were calling in referenced to my property and gave my address and apartment number then said she had time senstive documents and gave a bogus reference number 22054CV-15 and left their number for me to call back. Scheme here is to make one think they have some legal matter they have to attend to.
So when I called back lady answered phone as "administrative office." I asked administrative office for what. She said they have 6 different businesses. I asked to name all six and she hung up on me.
I called back and this time different lady answered "corporate office." I asked corporate office for what which apparently caught her off guard. wouldn't identify themselves. obviously they want you make you think you have some liability and then they will treaten to sue you if you don't give them a card payment.
Caller stating that they have legal documents for an ex husband from 20 years ago...they have my current address but called on my employer's after hours safety line!
